In 1972, in the town of Mouscron, Philippe Loncke douses into a mix of styles with the opening of Abita, a contemporary objects and furniture shop. A world entirely dedicated to the house where standing furniture meets the most fashionable objects, where the greatest names of our time are on display.

Abita, the name comes from the Italian magazine "abitare" which focuses on architecture, interior design, and innovative construction techniques. This magazine created in the 70s is since then the world's ambassador of the Italian style in the world. Abita has not thus anything to do with the "habitat" shops.

For many years now, with a strong presence on Lille, the Loncke establishments have not stopped to surprise by their creativity. They distinguish themselves in interior design, kitchen and bathrooms, of whom its furniture manufacturing is made mainly in-house at the workshop. Bearing a steady ambition, designing and creating living spaces, up to almost wanting to introduce art in everyone's day-to-day life...Canapés contemporains
